Impressions from the Kulturnacht on 25 October 2025

After our Night of Knowledge event, even more visitors attended the event at the KIW Quarter in Schwerin. After the rain, visitors were able to take a look at the area behind the future schaumagazin. A film by filmmaker Maik Gleitsmann provided a cinematic view of the architecture competition for the KIW Quarter. In a tribute to Günther Uecker, Volker Mischok, former cathedral preacher, shared his thoughts on the arc of light – the spiritual and the intellectual. Finally, we showed the documentary film Wie ein Bauer auf dem Feld – Günther Uecker (Like a farmer in the field – Günther Uecker, directed by Michael Kluth, Germany 1989).
