Young and old come together for a tour of the large halls in the KIW Quartier
We are delighted by the impressive interest in the KIW “Vorwärts” and the schaumagazin.
Led by Schwerin’s Deputy Mayor Bernd Nottebaum and Director of Urban Development Andreas Thiele, visitors toured the normally closed halls in several groups.
During the tour, several eyewitnesses shared their memories of the former workplace with the visitors.
The photography project “Vorwärts – reloaded” by AUSLÖSER e.V. rounded out the program, and Kornelia von Berswordt’s lecture focused on the future of the site, the schaumagazin. To conclude, Dr. Kornelia Röder presented selected works from the collection.
The event’s great success prompts us to thank the visitors for coming and for the many fruitful conversations.
