The state capital, Schwerin, in collaboration with schaumagazin Schwerin, is hosting an informative programme on 13 September 2026 on the site of the former KIW Vorwärts.
The focus will be on the impressive halls of modern industrial architecture, as well as the history and future of the listed site. There will be guided tours, a photography project by Auslöser featuring former employees, and a discussion about the transformation into the ‘schaumagazin’ as an extraordinary venue.
