‘At some point, I was no longer interested in painted rooms. I found the reflections in the window glass much more interesting. I wanted more. The sky needed a different intensity. So the idea of building rooms matured. The starting point for my light installations is always the studio. I was, am and will always be a painter. I feel connected to the Nordic light, the rather rugged light.’ (2021)
